Emily Strong

As a physical therapist, I love helping people get back to doing the activities they love. I first became interested in PT when I needed it in high school after a dance injury; I loved that it allowed me to return to dancing pain-free.

I received my Bachelor of Science and Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in Buffalo. After graduating I started out in outpatient orthopedics, and then eventually switched to home care PT. Homecare allowed me to see one patient at a time while seeing a wide variety of patients. I had the opportunity to treat everything from joint replacements to kids with developmental disabilities.  Having two kids myself made me realize the huge need for Pelvic PT and motivated me to help increase awareness for these services. I am very excited to work with Jen and Susan at Evolve Physical Therapy of Rochester!

My husband and I both grew up in Rochester, and we love that we’re able to have our kids grow up here surrounded by family. I love reading, hiking, and traveling with my family. We love exploring the finger lakes, and never taking for granted the beauty of our area and all it has to offer.
